Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) is greatly expanding its footprint in the areas of acquisition, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Command, Control, Communication, Computers & Intelligence (C4I). The ILS business areas are in Naval Ships, FMS Air and Land Systems. The C4I product line aims at both military and commercial customers, domestic and global.

ATSC has an open position for a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical and subject matter expertise to our internal team and customers in the areas of communications and surveillance systems integration.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
  • A minimum of 7 years applied experience with complex electronic systems integration  
  • Radio Communication systems and TCP/IP Networking analysis and design experience
  • Knowledge of Telephony and Intercom Interfaces and gateways
  • Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python and Java
  • Understanding of product development including system design, requirements allocation, integration,     performance verification and customer acceptance activities
  • Experience supporting proposal development and generation
  • Practical experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, waveform generators, spectrum analyzers/network analyzers, and packet analyzers.
  • Strong Technical writing and presentation skills
 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of governing ITU/ETSI radio telecommunication standards
  • Experience working with International customers and partners
  • Knowledge working with Systems engineering tools (IBM DOORS, ReqPro)
  • Understanding of surveillance systems technologies including radar, EOIR and unattended ground sensors
  • Power System analysis and design
  • Experience working with subcontract teams and manufacturers
  • Experience working with US Govt and DoD customers
